Female Students Upset To Know Their Yearbook Photos Got Altered

Female high school students in Utah got upset after discovering their yearbook photos were altered to show less skin. They want to know why it was altered without their knowledge that the school wants to show less skin. Teachers from the school said that the students were aware of the dress code and there was a warning sign posted informing the students that their pictures may be edited.

Some of the students are so upset because they claim that the decisions to alter their photos were inconsistent. According to them, some of the students who showed more skin didn't got the photos altered. It is quite unfair to them that some girls were exempted to the "less skin" rule.

“I feel like they put names in a hat and pick and choose who,” Rachel Russel, Sophomore Student
The Wasatch County Superintendent admits the school erred in not applying the same rules to all students.
“We only apologize in the sense that we want to be more consistent with what we’re trying to do in that sense we can help kids better prepare for their future by knowing how to dress appropriately for things,” Terry E. Shoemaker
