7 Year Old Girl Survives Plane Crash; Able To Walk For A Mile To Ask For Help

There are abundant stories of accidents that took place on air from the past year and another story of a plane crash will be tackled today but this time it will be a touching story of survival and courage from a 7-year old girl who was able to survive the plane crash. The 7-year old girl was able to survive the plane crash that took the lives of her beloved parents and two other family relatives, The touching part of the story was the courage of this little girl to walk for a mile to ask for help.

A 7-year-old girl named Sailor Gutzler who survived a plane crash in Kentucky is getting tremendous support and inspires a lot of people right now.  The plane that she and her family is using was reported to have engine trouble and eventually lost contact with air traffic controllers shortly before the 5:55 p.m. CST leading for the plane to crash. After half an hour of accident, A man named Larry Wilkins later called 911 to inform dispatchers and rescuers that a 7-year old girl miraculously survived the crash and was able to even walk to his home in Kuttawa, The young girl was even able to tell the man what happened to their plane. Sarah was the only survivor of the plane crash who killed her parents Marty Gutzler, 48, and  Kimberly Gutzler, 46, along with her sister Piper Gutzler, 9 and cousin Sierra Wilder, 14.

The girl's story of survival is so amazing as she was able to have walked nearly 1 mile, through thick piles of brush, in temperatures that were less than 40 degrees before reaching the home of 71-year-old Larry Wilkins.
“I come to the door and there’s a little girl, 7 years old, bloody nose, bloody arms, bloody legs, one sock, no shoes, crying, She told me that her mom and dad were dead, and she had been in a plane crash and the plane was upside down.” - Larry Wilkins
Sarah had a broken wrist, but she was coherent and calm when she got interviewed by authorities,

“She literally fell out of the sky into a dark hole and didn’t have anybody but her own will to live and get help for her family, Absolutely amazing." - Kentucky State Police Sgt. Brent White

It was reported that it was on late Friday the plane had taken off from Tallahassee Regional Airport, Florida, and was bound for Mount Vernon, Illinois. The whole neighborhood commends the bravery of Sarah as she have survived the traumatic incident but they are also grieving with her with the loss of her beloved family members. Sarah is now discharged from the hospital after being treated for the injuries she have got from the plane crash.

Truly a story of survival and the world is amazed by the characteristics of the little girl in a very depressing situation. Sarah is a true fighter indeed.
